The first artist I want to share with you is Gotye. Genre-Indie Pop. He was born in Belgium but raised in Australia which leaves for an appealing sound. In this particular song, released on his third album Making Mirrors, he collaborates with Kimbra a New Zealand artist who is also settled in Australia and only 21 years old.

I discovered this song a few months ago while listening to WXPN one of my local radio stations. I love the concept of the video how they were once "one" and essentially blended together but once they ended their relationship they were two separate, changed people. My favorite part is midway through the song when they start to argue through song.

I really like how the lyrics go in the song. The arguing part is my favorite of this video, too. I didn't expect his girl to be in the video. Though I love music as well, the genre of this music was little hard for me to understand and I would appreciate it if you could teach me how to appreciate these songs. Thank you for sharing!
