Welcome!

I am super excited to launch this blog on music. I'm not sure if you have ever heard of a foodie but I am the music equivalent. Being that I have been a dancer for 15 years of my life, music means so much more to me because I have had to express my vulnerabilities through my movements. I am always looking for new music that interests me and hope that you find just as much interest!

The first artist I want to share with you is Gotye. Genre-Indie Pop. He was born in Belgium but raised in Australia which leaves for an appealing sound. In this particular song, released on his third album Making Mirrors, he collaborates with Kimbra a New Zealand artist who is also settled in Australia and only 21 years old.

I discovered this song a few months ago while listening to WXPN one of my local radio stations. I love the concept of the video how they were once "one" and essentially blended together but once they ended their relationship they were two separate, changed people. My favorite part is midway through the song when they start to argue through song.
